Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed-martial artist. She was born August 18 in 1986. She is a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is an ex- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate previously competed in Strikeforce where she was the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice-president of ONE Championship. She currently ranks in the top 10 in UFC women's bantamweight standings as of October 3rd 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. Tate was born in Tacoma, Washington. Tate was a typical tomboy during her childhood and frequently was on the playground with other boys.
